The Policy Module can be configured to match the needs of your school or trust. All configuration options are available in Settings, where you can manage defaults, reminders, email notifications and lookup lists.
Navigate to the Policies screen
From the top menu, click the Settings Cog icon
General Settings: Control how the module behaves, including default workflows.
Lookup Lists: Manage dropdown lists such as policy categories, types, or departments.
Reminders: Set automated reminder schedules for reviews, acknowledgements and approvals.
Emails: Customise email templates used to notify staff of approvals, reviews or required actions.
Access & Roles: Fine-tune who can create, approve, or view policies.
Review your settings before adding new policies to ensure they align with your school or trust processes.
Keep lookup lists tidy and standardised for easier searching and reporting.
Test reminder and email settings with a small group before rolling them out across all staff.
