How do I allow a user to carry out monitoring for any staff member?

This setup allows a staff member to add monitoring for any colleague with an open review in the current cycle, without giving them access to that user’s portfolio. They will only see monitoring they have created or for staff they line manage.

To apply this for a group

• Go to Settings, Staff, then Standard User Rights

• Edit the relevant rights group

• Under Settings, add:

  • Access My Reports

• Under Monitoring, add:

  • Access Lesson Monitoring Summary

  • Add Lesson Monitoring for ALL Staff

  • Access Monitoring Overview Grids

• Save changes

To apply this for an individual:

• Go to Users, Staff Members

• Edit the staff member

• Open their User Rights using the edit pencil next to the dropdown

• Add the same rights as above

• Click Save User Rights

Once applied

• Go to Users, Staff Members

• Edit the staff member

• Open their User Rights using the edit pencil next to the dropdown

• Add the same rights as above

• Click Save User Rights

Note: Users will only see monitoring they have completed or for staff they line manage
