Opening review periods at the start of the academic year can be time-consuming, but this can be done quickly using Bulk Actions.
Go to Settings, then Review, then General, then Bulk Actions.
If the Settings menu is not visible, you may not have the required permissions.
In the Open Reviews section, click Start.
Enter the Review Title (e.g. annual review, probation review, or specific period).
Set the start and end dates (these will default to the academic year).
Click Next.
Choose what should be included in the reviews:
Standard Objectives – adds objectives linked to staff roles
Standard Monitoring – adds scheduled monitoring activities
Standards – includes relevant standards (e.g. professional or teaching assistant standards)
Collaborators from Last Review – carries over previous collaborators
Decide how to handle incomplete items from existing reviews:
Move or copy Objectives and Areas for Development
Leave unticked if nothing should be transferred
Click Next.
Choose how to filter staff using the available options (e.g. Department, Role).
Select a value from the dropdown to refine the list.
Tick the box next to each staff member you want to include.
Tick the box next to STAFF to select all.
Use the buttons to move staff between lists:
Move selected or all staff to the right-hand list to include them
Move staff back to the left-hand list to remove them
Click Next once all required staff are selected.
Review the summary of staff, review title, and review period.
Click Open Reviews to complete the process.
