As you prepare for the new academic year, use the Reflect, Implement, Improve approach:
Reflect: Review the evidence you've collected this year. Which data-informed decisions drove improvement? If a process isn't adding value, consider simplifying or removing it.
Implement: Set up your key School Development Plan priorities and activities before the summer break, ensuring they're ready to align with appraisal, monitoring, and CPD processes from day one.
Improve: Use your findings to shape professional learning priorities. Focus CPD on identified areas for development and ensure new staff are equipped with the knowledge and access they need from the outset.
Empower Leaders: Enable middle and subject leaders to access the information they need independently, supporting greater ownership of improvement priorities and evidence-informed decision making.
As the academic year draws to a close, now is the ideal time to prepare for end-of-year review meetings. Taking a few moments to ensure records are complete will help make discussions more productive and provide a clear picture of progress.

Password Reset for Multi-Login Users: We've improved the password reset process for users with multiple login accounts. Users managing access across multiple accounts can now reset their passwords seamlessly, supporting a smoother sign-in experience and reducing administration time.
CPD enhancements: Improved cost tracking to include travel and course fees in a single total, with a new Notes field to capture additional context such as reflections and outcomes, and introduced Course Codes to standardise and improve tracking of CPD activities and programmes.
New Development Plan Report: A new report titled “Objective Details” has been added to iP, bringing together key development objectives, activities, ownership, progress, and related information to improve visibility of organisational improvement planning and support more effective tracking of progress.
Review Status Reporting: Users can now add comments within a review prior to end-of-year meetings to reflect the status of objectives, with the ability to expand objectives in the closure review to view associated comments.
As we continue through the final part of the academic year, the focus remains on strengthening evidence, refining practice, and ensuring systems are working effectively to support improvement priorities.
